Three Phase Testing
The visual inspection, examination, marking, documenting, and recording of the results are all performed in three steps.

In an industrial setting, where high voltage is needed to run heavy machinery, 3 phase switch sockets are common.
The following tests are performed by Test and Tag technicians as needed:
- Earth Bond
- Insulation Resistance
- Leakage Test
The results of each test will be evaluated by the Test and Tag technician to decide a PASS or FAIL.
Electricity is associated at either 230-240 volts (single phase) or 400-415 volts (three phase) (3 Phase). Single-phase systems typically have three wires: active, neutral, and earth. Three phase circuits usually have five wires: three actives (known as Phases), a Neutral, and an Earth.
